Try not to abuse blur tool though, if you're using them ;]

and to balance the cool and warm colours, use Photo Filter.

And as for the text, use can use outer glow / stroke to make them clearer xD

overall, it's nice ;] keep up the good work

i'll try to make a proper tutorial on how to make simple avatars xD
